Popadich House

A home in dialogue with land, light and Lonely Bay
For this project, our focus was on capturing the quiet strength and material honesty of a home deeply connected to its coastal setting. We leaned into the rhythms of light and shadow, exploring the interplay of timber, stone and steel and the sense of courtyard and threshold that shapes the plan. Designed by Davor Popadich as his own family residence, the house unfolds across retired grazing land toward views of Lonely Bay, grounded in ecology and landscape. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing aerial perspectives that reveal the home’s calm integration with the surrounding terrain and native planting.
