A house designed in dialogue with its surroundings

For this project, our focus was on capturing the quiet precision and refined materiality of a residence that feels both grounded and elevated within its natural setting. Designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, the Gallatin Residence sits beautifully within the landscape, responding to views, light and the surrounding terrain with a thoughtful choreography of form and detail. We worked to film the interplay of interior and exterior, the way materials resonate in changing light, and the spatial sequence that unfolds with calm, intentional movement. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing aerial perspectives that reveal the home’s relationship to the terrain and its elegant integration with nature.
