How to Create a Home That’s Built to Last
For this project, our focus was on capturing the principles of enduring architecture and thoughtful design as realised by Walker Workshop. The film explores how lasting homes are shaped not just by form and material, but by intention, detail and resilience, highlighting the ways that structure, proportion and craft work together to create spaces built for generations. We approached the shoot with a mindset of discovery - filming how light moves across surfaces, how materials age with integrity, and how thoughtful composition creates a sense of permanence and calm. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing aerial perspectives that reveal the home’s relationship to its context and landscape, underscoring the seamless integration of design and environment.
