An architectural landmark poised over the Silver Lake hills
For this project, our focus was on capturing the remarkable interplay between form, light and site that makes Silvertop such an enduring architectural icon. Restored by Bestor Architecture in collaboration with Jamie Bush Co., the home’s sculptural concrete curves, glass walls and expressive details respond to the California sun and the expanse of Silver Lake below. We worked to emphasise the way natural light moves through the spaces, highlighting the intentional transitions between interior and exterior and revealing the structure’s refined materiality. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing aerial perspectives that reveal the home’s dynamic presence on the hillside and its relationship to landscape and horizon.
