The Folly

For this project, our focus was on capturing the quiet ingenuity and material richness of a compact structure that feels both playful and purposeful. Designed by Cheshire Architects, The Folly sits nestled within its landscape, composed as a series of thoughtful gestures that reveal themselves gradually through movement and light. We worked to highlight the subtle interplay of texture, structure and context, capturing how the building engages with its surroundings with calm precision. The project was filmed using the RED Raptor and RED Komodo paired with Sigma Cine Zooms, with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro providing aerial perspectives that reveal the design’s relationship to place and the delicate balance between form and environment.
